Maximum 4 students
Students are grouped by learning pace, not just by level — if no existing session matches your child’s pace, we open a new one.
Class registration for the 2027 school year is open.
Students on the IB programme at international and local schools are welcome. These classes support secondary English and MYP Language & Literature through close reading, organised responses and purposeful writing, using the tasks and criteria provided by the student’s school.
Live online classes · Maximum 4 students · 1.5 hours weekly
Use the IB’s MYP language and literature overview alongside the course materials provided by your school. We confirm the student’s programme and year with the family before arranging a class.
Students may accurately recount a passage but leave the reader to infer its significance. We practise making that explanation explicit.
A clear central idea helps a student choose what to include. We plan the response around the task and its criteria.
The assignment instructions and teacher feedback help us identify what the student needs to demonstrate next.
Bring the task sheet, rubric and relevant extracts. This keeps the lesson connected to the student’s current course.
Students consider how language and structure shape meaning, then support an interpretation with specific evidence.
We work on organisation, development and language, asking the student to explain each revision and use it independently next time.

Getting started
A recent school assignment gives the teacher a useful starting point.
We look at the questions, the response and the feedback to identify what needs attention first.
We message each family to confirm the school programme, level for 2027 and a suitable lesson time.
A trial class lets your child meet the teacher, take part and see how the lessons work.
Frequently asked questions
