Students are grouped by learning pace, not just by level — if no existing session matches your child’s pace, we open a new one.

Read closely, write with a clear purpose and explain your ideas aloud. Our Secondary English classes support Sec 1–4 students in G3, IP and IB programmes, with lessons shaped around the demands of their schoolwork.
Live online classes · Maximum 4 students · 1.5 hours weekly
G3 English follows SEAB’s examination syllabus. IP and IB students should bring the course details and assignments used by their school.
Finding a useful line is only the start. Students need to explain what it suggests and connect that explanation to the question.
A paragraph needs a clear point, relevant detail and a reason for the reader to follow it. Planning helps students decide what belongs before they begin.
Comments such as “develop your point” need a concrete next step. We use a recent response to show what a more complete explanation would include.
Students identify the task and select details that answer it, then check whether their explanation goes beyond retelling.
A short piece of writing gives the teacher something specific to discuss. Students revise it so that each sentence serves the audience and purpose.
Students state an opinion, support it with an example and respond to a follow-up question. This gives quiet students regular opportunities to contribute.

Getting started
A recent school assignment gives the teacher a useful starting point.
We look at the questions, the response and the feedback to identify what needs attention first.
We message each family to confirm the school programme, level for 2027 and a suitable lesson time.
A trial class lets your child meet the teacher, take part and see how the lessons work.
Frequently asked questions
Four, at most. Students are grouped by learning pace, not just by year level, so each lesson moves at the speed of the students actually in it. When no session matches a child’s pace, we open a new one. In a class that size, every child answers questions, gets their working checked, and gets help the moment they need it.
Choose the track your child studies at school: G3 English, IP English or Language Arts, or IB English. If you are unsure, request a trial class and we will message you to confirm the programme and 2027 level.
