Maximum 4 students
Students are grouped by learning pace, not just by level — if no existing session matches your child’s pace, we open a new one.
Class registration for the 2027 school year is open.
Our tutors help Sec 2 G1 students compare short texts, write complete messages and explain opinions with less prompting. We use current schoolwork to choose what to practise in each lesson.

A practical reading task might pair an event notice with a message from a friend. To answer well, the student has to combine the event’s conditions with that person’s situation. Begin by underlining the decision the question asks for. Then collect only the details that affect that decision.
Our tutors model the process aloud before asking the student to try a new pair of texts. At home, two short announcements are enough for practice. Ask which option suits a particular person and why. A complete answer should explain the fit, not simply repeat the name of an activity.
The task
A photography workshop is for beginners and starts at 3 pm. A sports session starts at 2 pm. Amir is new to photography and is free only after 2.30 pm. Which activity fits?
Worked response
The photography workshop fits because it welcomes beginners and starts after Amir becomes free.
Both his interest and availability support the choice. Naming the workshop without reasons would hide whether he checked both conditions.

Practical writing succeeds when the intended reader knows what happened or what to do next. Before drafting, list the information the recipient needs. Put the main purpose near the beginning and group related details. A clear request for help, for example, explains the problem and gives enough information for a useful reply.
Read the message as its recipient. Is a date missing? Is “it” unclear? Does the reader know what help is needed? The tutor then works on one recurring language mistake with the student.
A student may understand each notice separately but miss a condition that changes the answer. We practise holding the question in mind while comparing the relevant information.
An error that disappears in an exercise may reappear in a longer paragraph. We teach a short checking routine and test the same language relationship in a new piece of writing.
The tutor asks where the answer came from and why that detail matters. Students practise choosing the information the question needs.
Students check required content, order, tense and complete sentences. We gradually reduce the prompts as they learn to spot mistakes themselves.
Platform practice and spaced review bring students back to earlier skills. Another task shows what they can remember and use.

Frequently asked questions
Four, at most. Students are grouped by learning pace, not just by year level, so each lesson moves at the speed of the students actually in it. When no session matches a child’s pace, we open a new one. In a class that size, every child answers questions, gets their working checked, and gets help the moment they need it.

Students practise checking conditions, choosing information, completing messages and correcting familiar mistakes with less help. These skills prepare them for later G1 tasks.
Vocabulary needs context. We ask students to choose a word, explain its meaning in the sentence and check how it fits the surrounding passage. Short lists can support review, but a fresh sentence shows whether the word is usable.
Share the school’s advice and current work. We can discuss the reading and writing skills your child needs to practise and confirm a suitable class.
